I’m Back! :)

Dear church,

I’M BACK in the office today!! And I can’t tell you how GREAT it feels! Libby, Naomi, and I had such a beautiful sabbatical, and we are so grateful for the gift of time to rest, recharge, and be renewed. In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more of my reflections from my time off, but off the top of my head here are a few highlights we’re especially thankful for:

·         Unhurried time together as a family – slowing down with Libby and Naomi was priceless. Naomi’s personality is really starting to blossom, and it was such a joy to have so much time with her the last couple of months.

·         Space to seek God’s presence in fresh ways – I really appreciated a chance to listen more deeply and be reminded of His faithfulness.

·         Unexpected moments of joy and refreshment – from simple daily walks to times of laughter and adventure, we had such a great time together.

Thank you for your grace, prayers, and generosity in making this possible. WE MISSED YOU ALL SO MUCH, and we are really looking forward to being back together this Sunday! My parents are actually going to be in town this coming weekend, too – and we are all looking forward to worshipping together!

A special thanks to Pastor Darren, our elders, and ALL of our ministry leaders who ensured ministry continued so faithfully while I was away. We are blessed with such a strong and loving church family.
